Md is a medical student at the University of Rochester who founded Doctor’s Inn Podcast to amplify the voices of physicians and bring practical mentorship to future doctors. His path in medicine has been shaped by global health experiences across Argentina, Kenya, Mozambique, and Peru, where he worked alongside clinicians caring for underserved and resource-limited communities. These experiences deepened his commitment to equity in healthcare and shaped his patient-centered perspective. Alongside this, he has contributed to research in cardiology and critical care, but his true passion lies in building bridges—between patients and providers, between learners and mentors, and between medicine and humanity. Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading, hiking and backpacking, cooking fusion dishes, and creating a family memory book with his partner.
Syed is a current medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine with past experiences in research at the Icahn School of Medicine. He has an interest in Gastroenterology specialty and community-based and clinical research. He constantly seeks out opportunities to be a conscious member of society and participates in community-building activities. Syed intends to build a stronger foundation for his aspirations of ensuring refined healthcare globally. His hobbies include cooking, playing sports & bodybuilding. In order to reach his true potential and contentment, Syed places emphasis on prioritizing his physical and mental health.
Najah is a current Physical Assistant student at Weil Cornell and Hunter College alumn with a degree in Human Biology. Najah wants to lay a firmer foundation for her ambitions of providing world-class healthcare. In this pursuit she has been volunteering with organizations like the American Red Cross and New York Cares. This podcast allows her to build relationships with medical professionals while also learning more about a variety of subjects in medically related disciplines from the viewpoints of our innovative physician guests. While she is dedicated to her education in her free time Najah enjoys reading, traveling, camping, and studying religion.
Janie Chan is a Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College alumn. She double majored in Biological Sciences (BA) and Studio Art (BA). She is researching the modes of metastasis for pancreatic cancer in transgenic mice at the Nancy Du lab at Weill Cornell Medicine. She ultimately wishes to pursue a career as a physician-scientist to indulge in her desire to make a human impact while also appeasing her interest in research. She engages in her love for medicine by shadowing doctors at Mount Sinai Morningside’s Emergency Department and expands on her clinical experiences at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and NYU Langone. She also creatively engages her interest in medicine through animations and video editing for the Doctor's Inn podcast as well as editing for the Society of Bioethics and Medicine blog. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she plans to obtain a medical degree and work alongside healthcare professionals to provide better therapeutic treatments for cancer and women’s health.
Natalya is a fourth-year, pre-MD/PhD student majoring in Neurobiology. As an avid podcast listener herself, she is fascinated in learning from others' experiences. This podcast allows her to bridge keeping up with the latest news in medicine and science as well as further learn about various topics in medically adjacent fields from the perspectives of our enterprising physician guests who are a part of multifaceted initiatives. Professionally, Natalya seeks to combine her innovative passions in technology and advocacy through a career in data science and healthcare as a physician-scientist. In her leisure time, Natalya enjoys hiking, learning new piano pieces, and watching foreign shows.

She strives to create content for this podcast to help pre-med students better prepare and obtain the methodologies necessary for the healthcare field.
